Looked nice. Plenty of front passenger space for a large adult. Easy to read gauges. Drove nice and rode nice. I got real world mpg of about 14. That is driving normal. Between 10 and 12 pulling a pontoon. Hwy was about 17 . If you have a large son like I do he will complain constantly about riding in the backseat of the extended cab. At around 50k miles the transmission started slipping and had to be replaced. GM has an ongoing problem with these transmissions but there is no recall. Also had rust issues. This truck was purchased new in middle TN and is not a northern truck where you might expect issues. I loved my truck but was very disappointed in it. It also had a 5.3 engine and did not have much get up and go compared to other friends trucks. I may have gotten a lemon but it really scared me off from other GM products. To be fair , I have a friend with a 2000 Chevy truck that is almost exactly the same and he has 140k on his and works it like a mule. His is a great truck and one of the reasons that I bought mine. He has had a few problems but nothing major.

Nice ride, and can handle a deer hit with minor damage.
