This vehicle has not at all what I was hoping for when purchasing it. I believe that this one was in an accident and not registered on the CarFax. The wheel-bearings were the first to be replaced by the dealership. In return of the vehicle, my steering wheel was no longer straight. It now eats up tires like there is no tomorrow.
When I first got the car used in 2008 with 25,000 it ran great. In the first couple months, the wheel bearing went which was close to $450 to fix and the car attempted to start with no key and the lights were flashing on/off. The PCM was blamed for it so that was replaced another $500. The car still tries to turn over after removing the key so the PCM might not have been the issue I'm thinking! At 45,000 the head gasket went bad. After calling GM numerous times, they agreed to help cover the $2000 repair cost so I put out about $600 for that. There were other normal wear and tear repairs. I do think the front brakes wear quickly and the radio area gets really hot. Also the seats seem to stain easily esp if it's raining, you will have little white dots on seat. I get about 200 miles per tank. Update 9/2015 Well after being told the heater core is bad and finding antifreeze in the oil again, I have traded the car in. It once again is eating antifreeze and running hot. I was told it could be the head again. The ignition switch had been changed 3 times and the key still comes out while the cars running. The dealer has no idea why when its damp or raining the car will either try to start with no keys or will not turn off. The stearing feels loose but they see nothing and there is knocking coming from the rear that they have no idea what it is. I didnt feel putting close to $3000 + into the car was worth it when the trade in value was around $5000. Its hard driving a car with your young child in it wondering if its going to break down.
its cmfortable, nice appearence, never notice any noice or blind spots, gas mileage exelent, great maintenance cost and I do not know about repair costs, car's acceleration good and breaking and handling, I feel safe and in control driving it.
Loved the ride on trips. Great acceleration and handling. Incredibly versatile car that has a great towing capacity and with its towing package. Very little maintenance needed since I purchased it in 2006. If I did not have 2 other cars I would keep it.
