Good fuel economy, brilliant transmission and good power. 200+ torque, 180bhp, with 6 air-bags. Volvo made, unbelievably tough car. That was a wagon, with big space to carry boxes, etc. Transmission is good, which is an auto-manual thing. Generally speaking, brilliant car for winter here.

It was very, very slow. The 2.4 felt like a 1.4. But the T-4 version is a lot better apparently. I did like the stylish interior. It looks reasonable too, less Volvoid than before. Space wise, well it isn't that capacious inside, but it handles fairly well and can be punted along with reasonable confidence, more so than the V70. Build is solid- it just needs a bigger engine to shine. Nice warble to the engine tho.
