Overall, the Volvo S60 is a wonderful vehicle. There are only a few minor flaws in the car that I have noticed thus far; one being the lag in throttle response with an automatic transmission, but this is common in most cars. As far as performance goes, it is much more than I had expected and hoped for. With around 210 horsepower from the stock 2.5 litre turbocharged engine, I have been able to keep up with a friend's 2003 Audi TT Quattro which pushes 280 hp after some custom work. As always, Volvo has produced a very well built car. Everything from the smooth and quiet ride to the heated seats and mirrors seems to have been exceptionally well designed. As for the cost of ownership, like other European luxury cars, the Volvo S60 very few maintenance requirements other than the regular oil change and tire rotations. However, when something goes on the vehicle, be prepared to spend at least $1,000.00 each time as the parts are not cheap. Like any other car, gas mileage depends a great deal on how you drive the car. When I have my foot into the throttle I can expect to get between 6 and 12 mpg. When taking a long highway drive and obeying speed limits, that number quickly exceeds 28 mpg. The Volvo S60 is not only a fun car to drive, but it is also very safe, allowing the driver to get away with maneuvers that might leave other cars with its wheels spinning at the clouds.

This was my first car. its sorta slow but its a gorgeous car with lots of potential to go really fast. the turbo is nice to have but its too small. its very fun to drive, it has great gas mileage and it can fit alot of people. Im kinda going for a VIP style right now but its getting kinda messy. it has moderate acceleration with great handling and a good clean sound. ITS A WORK IN PROGRESS
