Used 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL for Sale near Ardmore, OK

(8 reviews)I love the performance, its like a sports car but with 4 doors and five seats. Considering it has over 80000 miles the build quality is fantastic, I love the color but hate that when its slightly dirt it looks awful but thats what you get when you have a black car. The mpg gauge shows i can get over 35 to the gallon but i'm rarely up there with my heavy right foot. But i do like driving the car.
what a piece of garbage,@ any speed over 80mph the car falls apart ,shakes...rattles, vibrates
When I found this car on the dealer lot back in 2005 I couldn't afford it but wanted it as bad as a Snoop needs a Dogg. A very hard car to find used. I've now had mine for more than two years and love it to pieces. Huge interior for a vehicle of this class, (remember Nissan's "4 door sports car?), and has better interior/exterior finish than any other 3rd generation Altima. I autocrossed it last year. Took third place in GS class it's that good of a road car. Ask for it to blow past the car holding you up on a backroad two-lane and it's done. Better be prepared for torque-steer though. 260+ horsepower through the front wheels can be a handful with the amount of twisting force grabbing for pavement. The brakes are so-so and could be better but most drivers would not use as much stopping force as an autocrosser would. The steering is spot on too. So fast that you have to 'pre-think' your sneezes. All in all, the 3rd generation SE-R is a blast to drive. A true driver's car.
The seats aren't the most comfortable but I can live with that! I love everything else about this car.... Especially the Bose sound system... As I stated before. I will buy another in the next few months and then I will have two cars.
if you're looking for a fast front wheel drive car, this is pretty good, what i can't understand is why Nissan, a world class auto manufacturuer built this hunk of junk. My mother bought this car back in '04 for getting around town, i didn't like it then and i don't like it now, it's only 5 and parts are falling off it faster than a Leper in a pool of Piranhas, first the air dam, then the inner left fender, then the power window switch panel, then the inner door handles (sucked out at carwash vac-u-clean station) and now the front bumper is starting to go. it gets terrible city gas mileage, 13.5mpg on a good day (my dad's suburban can get better than that) and i've got a feathered foot so you can't blame the mileage on that. it's just a bad car, I can't stand the thing. the sooner it gets sent to the crusher the better.
