Excellent vehicle...mods helped a great deal.

Decent acceleration with the base Cooper. Build quality is good except for minor issues. I installed the side skirts which are OEM parts. Fuel economy is good. 50L tank, I get an average of 800km's per tank. That's about 45mpg. Fun factor is amazing. Just like the commercial says. "Go-Kart handling"!

Fun car altogether with great mileage driving at 70mpg. Great handling even in snow with proper tires. Do not put the run flats that come with the car. If you have a baby, it is difficult to access the baby seat in the back, but it is easier for a kid to get to back seat and stay there comfortably. Surprisingly roomy for an average size adult.

i love my mini! i don't think i could even drive another car. she handles like a champ and "corners like she's on rails". They are moderately priced, prior to add all the "extras". bobbing and weaving in traffic was never so much fun before purchasing my mini, sonshyne. :) i love attention, and my car and i certainly get it!

Hard to say that I love it. First, because I'm not sure it's very healthy to LOVE a car, and second because the accelerations are not ... as thrilling as I hope they would have been. On the other hand, it handles like a dream. I've got the ESP (an optional extra, so shame on you BMW) and no matter the weather conditions, you can hammer it as much as you want. It weighs about the same as the 206 I had before, but my God it handles better! You are always looking for twisty roads just to enjoy the perfect steering, the way the car moves under braking and then the way it balances itself when you get back on the throttle! Sure, it is a bit thirsty, and costly, and I wish it had more power, and yes, the ride can be harsh on a bumpy surface, but just look at it! So cute and there's this "so British" touch that I love.
