Used 2005 Honda Element LX for Sale near Jasper, IN

Awesome car with moderate power, and decent gas mileage, with plenty of cargo space. The interior is very functional. Awesome stereo system that plays MP3 and a bass tube built into the dash. Great for hauling the dog around and bicycles in the back.

I've packed in 3 bikes and 3 people inside - its amazing how versatile this car is. Super easy to clean, maintenance has been hassle free.

We love our E. We just bought it off our lease and plan on keeping it for a long time. It is perfect for us. It is fun to drive, gets good gas mileage, and it reliable. I love the fact it has a tailgate to sit on when we go camping. Great for hauling stuff from Home Depot, taking the dogs for a ride, and even going on long trips with. There is generous leg room in both the front and back. My husband has named it Elton.

Responsive, although power is slightly lacking. Is plagued by the Honda gremlin found on so many other Hondas with build quality-interior being on the cheap side. Styling is decent, but molded pillars and doors are all generic for every trim and package (ie-audio package has tweeters in the front dash pillars, same pillars are used for all trims regardless if tweeters are actually installed or not). Mileage for me is constant in the 22-25mpg range, which is probably expected for a smaller 4 cylinder engine pulling such a large body. Low quality parts on the interior plague the vehicle, have had 3 months and already have torque converter shudder (makes it feel like the transmission is locked between gears), and am replacing the passenger window regulator/window motor. Has a rattle that sounds like the breather box is loose and rolling around the engine bay (have replaced the air intake system with an Injen system so this is NOT what the noise is). I originally gave this vehicle a glowing review, but after only 3 months I should NOT be having these kinds of issues. This will probably be the last Honda I ever purchase.
