I have the 5.3 in my trailblazer and it goes good has great take off but loses at high end... gas mileage is about16.5-17.3. I bought it with 30,000 and has just about 70,000 miles now and has had no major problems. The truck is fun to drive especially with having 300 horse but the gas milage does hurt a bit on long trips.

I purchased this vehicle used in 2010 and it has had its share of mechanical issues. Thankfully I purchased an extended warranty. She's very reliable and fortunately all of her issues were able to be handled easily through the local GM dealerships. I still would recommend this vehicle if you have the opportunity.

it has great sound system wid bose speakers and 4.2 liter engine.great pickup great interiors and exterior its fun to drive this carwith 0 maintenence good mileage handling is good and has anti lock braking system no repairs till now

This Truck move lots of people and cargo, but you have stay close to the gas pump because it sucks gas. smooth ride good styling easy to drive and maintain. Wish chevy still made them. Good Buy for the money would own another one.
