I love this truck. Wish I did not have to sell. Buying a house. Most versatile vechicle out there. Only thing I would change is make it a diesel for better fuel milage. With 8.1 you get about 10-13 mpg.
Chevy should make this with a duramax and I'll buy another one.

Truck is extremely solid. over 110k miles and still like brand new. she is gorgeous, second only to my woman. loaded inside and out. gas mileage is anywhere from 18-20 with low maintenance. I love my Avalanche, and wouldn't give her up

this is a great turning, stopping, ride, comfort, handling SUV. The few things we didn't like about it were the running boards are too wide making getting out awkward. We have owned several other smaller SUV. This one has it all. The size just doesn't feel big. It feels like a 5 seater SUV. I love looking at it, driving it, washing it, and packing in the family.

WOW what an incredible vehicle! I chose this
particular truck due to its versatility. i can have all of
the comforts of a 5 passenger truck and not have the
wheelbase/bed to long. THis has the biggest Literage
engine that you can put in a truck at 8.1 L. After
having this motor everything else seems to be left in
the dust. Downside 14.5 MPG.

Wonderful ride, quite, smooth, compartments for storage, bed cover is nice, never was particularly fond of the style until I became an owner, now I love it. Even the fuel economy is not what I like, I have to argue with myself when it comes to a road trip.
