Acceleration is ok, but hesitates causing a downshift lunge. breaks are ok unless driving past uic. no repairs needed (unless crashed). appearance is good. too safe to be fun. handling is one of its best features with a good turn radius. suspension on all versions could be a little firmer.

Never thought about a Toyota until my son bought his Tundra. After riding in it I started paying more attention to the different models. The Highlander fits the bill for me as I have 3 large dogs and need room to take them to the vet, groomers etc. I have plenty of room for them and the comfort and nice ride for myself. Now I have no problem of deciding if I can go to the mountains during the winter months as with the AWD it's not a problem.
