Perfect package for roominess, economy and durability. Durable and powerful 4 cyl. Engines and transmissions hold up with the best. Mits was way ahead of everybody when they came out with this product. '04 and newer has the more powerful engines.

Excellent performance (please note that this is an AirTrek Turbo, and not the NA version). Good handling for an SUV. Sleeper car since no one expects it to run so quickly. Overall build quality is... well.... Mitsubishi level... No need to consider if you're concerned about fuel consumption....
