(8 reviews)The CLK offers a great mix of timeless, elegant design, luxury and performance. The highlight of the car is the column-less design, high quality leather and wood in the interior design, and good overall performance in terms of quick acceleration (about 6 seconds to 60 mph) and handling. Moreover, I have not have a single problem with the car since I purchased it and the only cost to-date was to replace the tires and brakes after 5 years of use. Sure there is more performance oriented cars like the BMW 335i, the BMW M3 and the Audi S5. However, the BMW 3-series simply cannot match the quality, comfort and design from the CLK. Audi can but it took them many years to catch up with the A5 / S5 and their brand equity as a driver of resale value is still unknown in the U.S.
The 2004 CLK320 I own performs without any flaws. It has two settings one for comfort, the other for performance and you can tell the difference between the two. Its a more robust vehicle than the 2003 C230K I had previously. I think its styling is timeless, having generally straight lines devoid of any trendy styling gimmicks. Its a comfortable car to drive with a sporty side that you can use when needed. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for a couple from an upscale marquee.
Best car I have owned V6 - cheap on gas Great acceleration - sleek design All the bells and whistles Sun roof - distronic - Black leather interior - GPS - Sun shade in back - Great rims Simply loaded etc ... Fun car to drive in Southern California
Great to drive with plenty of pop when needed. I'm 6'5 and my wife is 5'6 and the seat settings accommodate both of us easily. Visibility is also very good especially considering the car's overall lower profile. Also, the trunk space is surprisingly large.
must have one superb performance
