About 2004 Hyundai Elantra
The 2004 Hyundai Elantra has one engine option: a 138 hp, 2.0 liter inline 4-cylinder engine. The standard 5 speed manual or the optional 4 speed automatic are the two transmissions available. Gas mileage is around 22-24 miles per gallon city miles and 34-36 highway miles. With gas mileage like that, this would make an excellent commuter car. Air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and power locks a CD player, a trip computer, a leather steering cover and leather seats are all available on the 2004 Hyundai Elantra, either standard or optional. The 4 door GT adds the lineup in 2004. In case the worst happens, driver, passenger and side airbags are standard on all three trims. Hyundais seem to get better and better, and according to some owner reviews, the 2004 Hyundai Elantra seems to be one of the best models yet. As has become standard, owners liked the gas mileage of the sedan, as well as the styling and many of the features. It seems to be a very reliable vehicle, with few major engine problems. However, it is a low-end vehicle and it has its problems. Resale value drops drastically, the interior lighting is not the greatest, and many of the aesthetic parts are made of plastic and break easily. However, for the money, the 2004 Hyundai Elantra really can't be beat.
