The Pacifica was a unique new style of crossover SUV, introduced by Chrysler in 2004. The pacifica shares a platform with Chrysler's minivans, while most crossover utes are car-based. This was the America automaker's first attempt at a sport utility. For this introductory year, Chrysler offered just two variants of the Pacifica: front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
