Overview
The 2003 Toyota Camry Solara was mostly unchanged from the previous year, when it had received a facelift. The only change, some might say for the worse, was that the automatic transmission was no longer available with the V6 engine.
The 2003 Camry Solara came in two trim levels: the base SE and the well-appointed SLE. The SE came standard with a four cylinder, 2.4 liter engine with 157 horsepower. The SLE came standard with a V6, 3.0-liter engine. Fuel economy for the 2003 Camry Solara is about 20 to 30 miles per gallon depending on the engine. It was also available as a convertible.
Drivers like the car for its Camry-like reliability and smooth ride in a much sportier and younger package. Some drivers complain that the upholstery attracts lint and needs to be cleaned often.

Like most everything about this car. The comfort,style,performance,quality. I was impresses with this car the first time I drove it. I commute 150 miles one way and it performs incredible for a 10 year old car. Love it.

Our Solara is a fun car to drive. The 2.4 L is very peppy. I wish we had gotten one with a sunroof. I drove the Solara for the first two years we've owned it, but now Allison drives it.

Toyota Solara convertible, especially the V6 is the best car on the used market of its kind hands down. I like everything about this car. Whoever at Toyota decided to quit making it is a moron. I hope they bring back a new iteration soon. But so far of the two versions I like the 1999--3003 best.

Car runs good, has good power and is very stable ride. Interior is leather and has a lot of room for a 2 door coupe. Car is 4 cylinder and is good on gas. Car runs and drives good and is very stable on the high way.
