Since 30 years we are driving at least one mercedes benz in our family. The main reason for buying them is safety and reliability. My next car will be another ML or similar samller SUV by Mercedes, takes the guesswork and anxiety out of choosing and getting another car.

The exterior design falls a little short and lacks flash in comparison to say a BMW X5 or a Porsche Cayanne. The exterior quality feels like a tank, a very safe vehicle to be in with nice materials used. The interior, however, is very desirable with the right amount of wood/leather trim giving off a luxery look in the classic mercedes style and fashion. The cabin is very comfortable, controls are conveniently placed, materials are not cheap and it truly convinces you that you are in a luxery vehicle. So far, after a year... It is clear that basic maintenance is pricier than it is for a Honda or a Toyota but still affordable and over all, a very dependable car, no drastic repairs needed so far. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase of a family vehicle and a luxery vehicle that can also be an awesome safari vehicle.
