I bought my car new in 2003. Have now completed 147,000 miles only problem I have had is a sender unit in the fuel tank had to be changed the car behaves perfectly and on a run from Boca Raton to Tampa I will get about 28mpg how about that for a V8

This is a great car, pampered, well maintained, awesome car on the road. Performance, acceleration and braking is terrific! Very smooth, road hugging, very comfortable on long drives in the mountains!! Fun to drive especially with the 6 speed trans.

Well it'll be mine soon and very soon. But pretty much the 4.2L scoots really quickly, the transmission shifts seamlessly, and she still returns up to 31 mpg on the highway in steady state cruising. 50/50 weight distribution leads to very stable and predictable handling, though understeers a bit much for my taste at the limit. The ride is smooth and quiet as expected, and the stock Bose stereo is excellent. Seats are supportive enough, though lacking in rear leg room if the front passengers are in a comfortable position. The brakes are excellent, though the mushy pedal takes some getting used to. Steering is communicative and light around town, but nicely weighted at speed. The interior is beautifully crafted in Burl Walnut and leather, and has held up very nicely. 5 years later, still attracts (too much) attention.
