Everything about this SUV is great. It is very maneuverable and short enough to park in tight spaces. Never had a problem with it that I didn't cause. I have it lifted 2.5" and I would definitely recommend lifting it, it looks way better and handles better. The only thing they could have done different is that they could have put a 4.0 or a V8 in it because the 3.7 is a little small for the Liberty's weight. I would say if they had matched the engine with the weight the Lib would get far better mileage. This is a great SUV that can handle just about anything you through at it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone used, but you have to get a mechanic to look at it beforehand.

I really love the power i feel out of this little SUV. I can give it gas and it picks right up. I am also very happy with the 4WD capabilities. Overall, cost of ownership is low because maintenance is low. Gearboxes only need changed every 15k-30k, radiator every 100k, and tranny every 50k-60k. Gas mileage is about the same as my Ranger. about 20mpg. The handling can get a little rough around corners, keep the tires at 33psi and that should help.

My car softly growls with power. Great get up and go. Get to and over the speed limit before you know it. 18/20 MPG and with Diesel fuel. Diesel is cheaper nowadays than Gas. Nice. Fun to drive over ruff roads. High clearance.

would like a solid front axle for a better lift. the part time 4wd isn't the best for in town in the winter,if you drive it too much in 4wd without enough slip on the road, it'll destroy your transfercase. four wheel low will get you through most the stuff. maybe a more powerful engine. or a lower gear range. but other than that its a blast to drive and work on.
