Good, not great, accelleration. Excellent braking and handling. It has not needed and repairs, with no squeaks or rattles. Alittle nosiy on the freeway. Looked fantatisic and was fun to drive. Mileage was great for an SUV at around 20-21 mpg. Very low maintenance.

I like the car a lot! The only problems are that you're Air Conditioning is bound to break. Also, the Alternator is on the bottom of the car. This is no big deal unless you live near the beach. I live in Hawaii so of course I have to drive through salt water puddles sometimes. Doing this, however, will and did fry the Alternator. Fresh water, no problem, salt water will do it though. Other than that, it has been very reliable, it looks great, and it accelerates quickly with the sport shift. It's a great car to win over the person who was never too keen on SUV's. Also, the price is great. I bought a 2002 model in 2005 with 60K miles and I bought it from a dealer for about 10,500.

Since my husband bought this vehicle in 2002, I think he's only had to do the regular maintenance on it. Nothings ever broken, just the normal wear and tear. I don't know a whole lot because my husband won't let me drive it! It's his only, apparently. lol

Well made. Engine is very quiet, and the computer controlled 4WD comes in handy during heavy rain. Fuel mileage is very good, as well as the acceleration, even when carrying cargo. The SUV is very fun to drive, and is low maintenance. I feel very safe driving this vehicle. Thumbs Up.
