I've had my truck for almost 2 years now and I have had nothing but trouble out of the thing. Changing the oil is one of the most dawnting tasks to preform. The oil filter is at such a weird position, its almost impossible to get to. The truck is a little weak in the performance area but it is after all a 4 cylinder. It does sound however like a beast. Gas milage isn't that bad if you have clean fuel lines unlike me. I was driving on 3 cylinders for awhile and only getting 9 mpg. The interior is actually spacious and this is coming from a 6'2 guy. The S-10 is a highly customizable car with millions of ways to do it. I've had numerious problems with the e-brake but it does help if the people install it right the first time. The ride is smooth, handling is pretty good. It preforms pretty amazing off-road for a 2WD. Its cheap and easy to maintain (besides changing the oil filter) but you'll have to do it often.
