Used 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport RWD for Sale near Des Moines, IA

Overall pretty happy. The V6 is a bit weak and something with more HP would have really improved things. Would replace the tires and breaks since both were fast to wear out. The only real issue i've had so far was that the blower fan went out, however it was under warranty and fixed promptly.

I use to have a Dodge Dakota sport it was great,had good acceleration,and great breaking power,handling was good.The quality was good only had to fix the window to the window track for the manuel roll up windows.The appearence was great the previous owner put a custom blue pearlcoat on.Gas and maintenance was good just get a regular oil change.The fun factor was awsome it was fun to drive.

Its 2WD with a V6 and a manual tranny. I swapped in a 9 1/4 rear axle last year into it to have the larger brakes and more strength. It gets great gas mileage, has plenty of power, and is great at hualing items.

performance- good braking and handling, poor acceleration Build Quality- it overheats when idleing appearance- styling ok but it is pretty plain cost of ownership- great gas mileage and very low maintenance. window doesnt roll up or down cuz the chord broke. its stuck half way down. fun factor- its a manual so it is always fun to drive. it just doesnt go fast enough recommend- if you want a great gas mileage car without the extras, then this is the vehicle for you

The acceleration is great in this truck. It has a V6 with a 5 speed manual in it and it gets up and goes pretty quick. Its really fun to drive, but I've had to replace several things on it because the used dealership that we got it from said everything is ok in it, but it wasn't. Had to replace the brakes, two tires, spark plugs, spark plug wires, oil, coolant, and windshield wipers. Overall, a good truck. Transmission is great in it and engine runs good.
