Used 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue 4 Dr GL Sedan for Sale near Chicago, IL

It's got plenty of pep from the line and at speed. With only cosmetic issues (over time), it is possibly the best car GM ever made up until Oldsmobile's demise. I like the styling inside and out, but there were definitely some corners cut on the materials (but only cosmetically). It has been a dream from a maint standpoint, and it averages 24.897 miles per gallon (that's overall for the full eight years I've had it). Currently it is averaging about 26.25 miles per gallon. Now that it has aged a bit, the steering isn't as tight as it used to be, and the third set of tires doesn't suction the road quite as well, but it is still a fabulous car to drive. Great ride, good handling, and reasonably quiet and only slightly over 21K when I bought it new, make this car a dream, and pretty soft on the wallet. I was very disappointed, angry and sad when GM cancelled the entire car line in 2003. Unfortunately, the newest of these cars is 5 years old now, so it will soon be time to look for a new (favorite, must have car).

This car was very long... the interior room was great but I felt like I was driving a grandma car... it finally died, the motor blew up.

Good: Engine has power Size Very few problems for having over 200,000 miles Bad: Engine only has power over 3000 rpm only available with automatic transmission interior is very cheap and falls apart burns oil if not broken in correctly noisy ride ABS

Appearance is great, love the spoiler. Gas maintenance is great for a v6 engine thats 10 years old. Now it squeaks when breaking and the gas pedal sometimes locks up. The ventilation system sucks. Good first car to have, but I'm ready for another.
