Overall I have been very happy with the mountaineer. Has served its purpose very well. Its offroad capability is lacking, however it was never meant to be an offroad machine. It does very well in the snow with the AWD and has been very reliable with not having any major things to fix. The only negative I really have is the gas mileage.

This truck has been a blessing to own. We now have put in excess of 175,000 without making an excessive amount of repairs. With continued regular maintenance, this girl will soon be turning 300,000 miles for our family. I like the look of this model. The Lady in Black is fun to take a walk with.
