Used 2000 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD for Sale near Atlanta, GA
4.5 Overall rating
(9 reviews)After having my '96 for 5 years, it and it being my first vehicle and all, i had quite the hard time leaving it but this has been a pretty great replacement. Bought it with 92k miles. Since then I have put on new tires, new sway bar links, new tensioner pulley, new belt, new spark plugs and wires and that has been about it. It came with a 4.10 rear axle with no limited slip however a quick run to the junk yard and a days worth of work and i had myself a 4.10 limited slip. Its not great for gas mileage (19 at best on highway) but it really puts every ounce of power the truck has got down to the pavement and it will haul our 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer loaded up and everything at 70 mph. ( I also added air shocks in the rear as well so that helps a lot with load leveling and such) Other than that, it sits well on the road, I keep er' cleaned up all the time and she looks sharp, have been EXTREMELY happy with both my Explorer's! Been bullet proof for me!
Great Solid car but not the greatest on gas mileage! The nice thing about this car is that the backseats fold down nicely so that more cargo can be hauled. Makes for a good car/truck type. Overall a good car with a lot of power.
good on gas, parts are easy to find, has room to go an long trips our just driving around town easy for any one to drive and i like the 4x4 when off road . Take one for a test drive you will like it
Performance..being an older vehicle still has the get up and go Build quiality..overall great except top heavy Appearance..still looks good except a few flaws Cost..very good gas mileage Fun..cause I have a good sound system in it
Perfect traction, brakes a little old handling great! did 200 k's and didnt notice till i got pulled over great build quality, only a tiny rust spot great styling in and out a little expensive to run, but does get over 500 k on one tank AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
