Great trail ride truck, good commuter and fair for the price. I have enjoined taking her around the country and she will always have a special place in my heart. Never regret buying it and hope to keep her in my garage for a long time.

I like the fact that the Discovery has a very advanced AWD and off-road system. I has very comfortable suspension and outstanding build quality. The visibility is great thanks to the large windshield and the many rear windows. You feel very "in-control" when driving this vehicle.
My biggest complaint is the MPG. Its EPA ratings are 14CITY/17HWY/15-16COMBINED.
But then again, I think I'm willing to make that sacrifice to be able to go off-road and avoid getting stuck in traffic. At least this way I know I won't be getting stuck at all.

The Series 1 Discovery maintains its roots to the original vehicles with the manual differential lock 4WD and few electronics. The ride is amazing for a vehicle which can do so much off-road. The double moon-roofs bring in a lot of light and the classic 'Alpine Windows' in the back provide that unique Land Rover feel. Do the scheduled maintenance and you may never need to buy another car; it is built to last a lifetime!

Amazing car for hunting and fishing can get you threw anything.

the car is great for long trips, and very confortable, but has many flaws.
its very rough, it breaks down all the time, fuel economy is horrible, its
not a fun car to drive, and it alwasy needs some sort of repair.
