Of the sport-compats in my price range it was the best choice, and that's for certain. It performs very well for what it is. I've made a lot of modifications and can't realy speak too well for how it was stock. The appearance of the car is great, I think. The cost of the car shows in the interior more than in most other aspects. I really don't like that it shares most of the same interior as the civic. The cost of ownership has been great. It's been a pretty easy to maintain car. I've had some issues with it, but very few that didn't have more to do with how I drive the car rather than how well the car was made. The mileage is pretty good and I've gotten between 19mpg and 30mpg (typically about 22-25). The car is fun to drive for a front wheel drive car. For the car's value, finding a car in a stock or near stock condition that provides more bang for the buck would be pretty difficult to do.

The GS-R is an amazing looking, riding and handling car. It gets good gas mileage, it's a nice quiet ride and is comfortable to drive everyday. It is also sporty enough to have plenty of fun with.

Decent power and handling for a fwd 4 cyl. High revving low torque engine. Does not handle high rpms on stock engine for long before piston rings begin to fail. It is a fun car to drive but leaves you wanting more.

This car is a blast to drive because of its very capable suspension setup combined with a high revving engine and 5 speed transmission. It would be so much more fun with a rear wheel drive drivetrain, but a limited slip differential would take care of a lot of that torque/under steer.
