Even as a standard car it was quite exceptional, after some modifications it has been improved to suit my style. The performance is right up there with some of the "hotter" cars available and there are not many four cylinder vechiles that can keep up, even on the reliability front as the vechile has covered over 500000 km without a breakdown and everything still works as per original. I had to replace a central door locking motor on the driver side door. The turbo motor is a recent upgrade. The original 2.0l 8v motor was replaced on approximately 140000km with a red top 2.0l 16v unit. The motor was pretty much standard except for the cylinder head that was gasflowed and the compression ratio which was raised from 10,5:1 to a healthy 11,5:1. It proved very reliable and quick, dispatching of Vw Golf 5/6 GTi's, Ford Focus ST's, quite a few of the 2.0l turbo Subaru's and so on. Impressive top whack and fuel comsumption that was good at normal speeds and excellent when pushing on, up to 6,4l/100km while cruising at 180km/h with aircon cooling the interior. What a pleasure. The motor was sold after a joke was made with a rediculous price. The motor had by that time covered approximately 370000km without a glitch. Now its turbo time and i will keep u posted. Great fun to own and drive.

it is a good looker,power when u need it ,it can be tuned ,very easily i might add to be a strong racer ,she's reliable when u look after her & dont drive like other opel drivers ...& the quality of the build is good considering she was built in 98

Overall handling was good. For a 1.6l it had good performance and fuel consumption. It had a full body kit and looked good. It was affordable to run. I engine the low down torque and ease through the gears. It was a Roma Red which was good colour
