Performance- The V10 is an incredible engine, It has the torque of a diesel, without waiting for a turbo to spool, or plugging it in in the winter. Starts awesome in the cold and has a very distinct exhaust note. It pulls hard and never disappoints. Build Quality- The interior is a little bit cheap on the pre-1998 trucks and the headliners always sag, expect the drivers seat to be ripped because 90% of them are. Appearance- This truck looks tough, its the original "big rig" looking truck Cost of Ownership- It takes a lot of oil for the oil change (I think it was like 7 quarts), but thats still less than most Diesels take. The mileage isn't as bad as people like to think. I got 13 Mpg no matter what, when I was loaded I got 13, when I was empty I got 13..... thats just the way it is.

good power, good fuel mileage, will tow anything you put behind it. Dodge sucks but the engine makes up for it :) Tough engine- 415000km and still goin strong. The truck handles nice on the road and sounds great. Recommened to all.

I just love my '97 Cummins 2500! I have owned it for 8 years now and it has over 215,000 miles on it now. I am not looking forward to the day I have to trade it off, but as single mom I need something that is going to keep going! SO I am starting to fix this one up for a good work PU and looking for a new 2500. No sense in changing mid stream right? If it aint broke dont fix it. But I do have to say this, "WHAT IS WITH THE NEW BODY STYLE???" "YUCK!"

This truck has lots of cargo space, and plenty of power to haul. Power EVERYTHING. low maintenance cost. back seat, and not the best on gas. You can feel every little bump on the road. Plenty of power. Great reliable truck as long as you keep up with it.
