This is a great truck. It is very reliable, only broke down on me once. It's not exactly fast, but it's a work truck, and a great one at that. It is great for towing and hauling heavy things, like boilers and a/c equipment. The gas mileage isn't that great at around 14 mpg, but it's not that bad either. There aren't any problems with it as far as build quality goes, and it really keeps its resale value. My father purchased it in '04 for about $10k and it still has a blue book value of about $6500-7000. A great truck and would recommend it to anyone.

Best all around pickup made by any auto maker. Reliable (180K miles), tough, engine has plenty of torque, and everything about it is perfect for being off the pavement. It has low end torque, high end horsepower, the toughest IFS ever placed in a pickup, and key design features that make it great off road. And, unlike any new trucks, it has their same capacity in a smaller package so I can work in places they could never go.

This truck is an awesome mid-size truck. It's easy to customize and easy to take care of. This is the second silverado that i've owned and i will probably never own any other truck. I haven't had to do very much to it since i've owned it, the power steering pump is the only major thing. the gas mileage isn't as good as it was because of the 33x12.50 mud tires but it's still a blast to drive

Although this truck rides a bit rough, it has been able to handle any terrain I've driven on. Snow? Ice even? rocks, dirt, sand, mud?? NO PROBLEM! The 5.7l small block V8 puts out just enough power to get the job done.. about 300HP stock as far as I know. However, as with many other Chevy's around this model year, it's got consistent problems with power steering (possibly the gear box), door panels, EVO and Oxygen sensors... mostly minor problems, but can be an annoyance.. other than that, it's a great truck! It's a TANK!
