they are quick, with decent handling. for as cheap as you can get them, little money to put into them, you can make them pretty quick. this car is definitally fun to drive and to race. beware of the neon. lol

Excellent acceleration considering size, braking just above average, precise handeling even with not so good tires on front. traded a Ford Crown Vic even for this car and havent regretted the move yet. Taking into consideration the yrar and 150+ K miles on car the only thing I've have to do on it is change the torque converter cause it locks up and won't release. Body and interier are in almost perfect shape, 20+ mpg city/highwy, an fun to drive. Only reccomend if you like small cars and can do own work.

This was the ACR (American Club Racer) model, which included a special engine chip, close-ratio 5-speed manual, alloy wheels, and a track-oriented suspension. I still miss this car.

I would never buy another one. Too expensive to operate.due to the cost of repairs but great gas mileage.
