Used 1996 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT for Sale near Dover, DE

Build Quality: Truck holds up very well. Ive never been stranded because the truck broke i sunk it into mud up to the side views. only major repair was a steering box. Car Comparisons: I considered an F150 and a C/K1500, but neither one seemed to get up and go like the ram does.

Truck works great for pulling. Works very well for off road. Starts in any climate. I have 227,000 miles and still runs great. Still looks pretty good with some rust showing in usual places. Get 17 mpg highway, 12 city and 13 pulling 8000 lb. load.

This was a great truck. I bought it brand new and put all but maybe 2000 of it's 220,000 miles on it during my 13 years with it. I always took care of it and the truck looked awesome when I finally traded it in for a family car. If I could find that truck again, I think I would still buy it back, probably in any condition. Lots of memories, and a great truck overall!

Even stock, my truck gets TONS of compliments. It shines up nice, and always catches looks. It has great gas mileage, and one tough engine. It's 13 years old, so of course, it needs regular maintenance, but nothing excessive. Overall, it's the perfect truck!

i love this truck, when i bought it, it had a stock 5.9 360 that i blew, my transplant engine is a 426 hemi coupled to a 5speed w/OD auto trans, i couldnt be happier with any other truck unless it was a ram 2500 cummins turbo diesel, this truck is exceptionally built its a daily driver, mudder, tower/hauler, the 4wd doesnt skip a beat it locks in immediatly when i pull my handle, it has the usual dodge rust ie bottom doors front fenders, nothing im worrying about yet though. the interior is nice my truck is fully loaded,
