My 1996 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup was a good reliable truck. The performance was mediocre, but I can't expect much from a 4-cylinder motor. The gas mileage was less than desirable at 19-20 mpg. A 4.3 L V-6 would have been a better choice for a power plant. However, it was nice to have a pickup to haul things around.

The engine has its problems, I have already replaced the engine once. I had to bypass the heater core because it was leaking into the car. I have had to replace the water pump. I love the paint job on it because it has awesome blue flames.

nice truck just needs transmission rebuilt solid truck very good project truck if u ask me good gas mileage cheap insurance excellent for students if you ask me would be great to bag makes a nice low riding truck cool
