(1 reviews)Well unlike the newer ones this one in the performance department is lacking, acceleration is pretty weak. Braking isnt to bad, i upgraded the old discs to newer brembo racing discs with newer pads but still its a very heavy vehicle to think that your going to stop fast. The handling is not too bad but like the brakes I also upgraded the shocks to Bilstein shocks they really limit the body roll and make you feel like your driving something a little smaller and more sporty, definitly a recommended upgrade for anyone who has this vehicle. This truck does have a lot of little nik naks that obviously sometimes dont always work and need changing but on a yearly basis not counting the maintance that goes into it about 500 to 750 dollars is spent and is usually only on thing that doesnt work such as an air suspension sensor for height weighting about 1 pound costed me 800 dollars... The brakes do squeak a little and thats about it. The best thing about this SUV is its appearance inside and out. The inside is nicely furnished with nice leather seats and a hell of a lot of leg room in the back there is no seat in that vehicle that is uncomfortable to sit on for any amount of time, i would rather sit inside this SUV in the middle back seat (everyone knows thats usually the most uncomfortable seat in any vehicle) to read a book rather then in my living room. The exterior is really nice with large features that seem home on the large vehicle. This is a v8 and of course costs a lot in fuel averaging about 500kms city and 600km highway or about 25-30 liters per 100km city and i could usually get it down to 13.5 liters per 100 highway which is pretty good. Since this has a fuel capacity of 92.5 liters it costs on average 110 to 150 to fill no thanks to Quebec gas prices. Maintenance is really nothing about 300 a year for the two oil changes and air filter for engine and two air filters for the cab costing 35 dollars a piece. This SUV has the be one of the funnest to drive especially in winter when everyone with there wanna be SUV/crossover things or cars are all stuck in the beautifull Canadian winter snowfalls and I just drive by no problem, seriously i have never had so much trouble getting a vehicle stuck it doesnt matter were you try and plow it into no matter the size of snowbank it gets in and out like it wasnt there. I havent really taken it offroad cause to be honest scared to damage it :P
