Fantastic car, never ever feeling its age (>20 years!). A rather performing engine, this would probably be the last built by engineers and perfectionists rather than accountants. Absolutely gorgeous, but never pretentious. You won't feel out of place no matter where you take it.

Classy car that defers to no other. Okay, it's not as fast as the 500 but of all the 129's its the SL with the original personality of its predecessors. It's Bruno Sacco at his finest, and attracts attention moving or not. This is what $84,000 bought in 1994.

You dont mind sitting at a red light in this car. But remember: people arent looking at you, they're looking at the car -- cause most havent seen one that close before. The 5-speed 3.2 engine doesnt make as big a deal or as much music getting to 80 as the 8-cylinder. A quiet samurai. At $350 per horse, the SL320's more like a Bentley or Rolls. And that's okay with me too.
