Mazda's MPV minivan received only a few minor upgrades for 1994. Larger 15-inch tires, disc brakes, and side-door impact beams were added to the list of standard equipment As in previous years, the MPV was available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions. The two-wheel-drive MPV came with a 121-horsepower, 2.6-liter four-cylinder engine, while the four-wheel-drive model was equipped with a 155-horsepower, 3.0-liter V6. A four-speed automatic transmission was standard for both models. Standard equipment for the MPV included power brakes, power steering, a tilt steering wheel, power exterior mirrors, an AM/FM/cassette stereo system, and rear-wheel anti-lock brakes. Options included air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, and cruise control. Drivers reported having relatively few repair problems with their MPVs, and many considered the vehicle to be a good value and economical to drive. On the downside, some noted the MPV could be noisy, and some considered it to be underpowered.

My mom had one of these until some IDIOT ran into the side. It was counting 320 000 kms on the odometer. It was a very nice van mechanically speaking, it was a tough van, my mom's was green so we called it "The Tank". This was the car when I was starting to learn to drive, and it was very reliable. My dad and I could fix almost anything on this, but we never had to because it had no problems, only brakes making noise, which was fixed in about half an hour.

i've owned mine for a couple years. has had a few problems but it works wonderfully as a long range traveler. i use it mainly for courier work across the states.

this was my first vehicle with over 300,000 on it when i stopped driving it it was reliable as hell i took it mudden and played bumper cars with it but no matter what i did to it it all ways ran i had a solid v6 in it so its get up and go was crappy but i had it doing well over 130 one day so in the long ran it had the power
