I bought this car last year , from a little old lady . It had come into the shop with a common problem , the cylinder head gasket was "blown" and coolant had flooded #4 cylinder . Instead of her fixing the engine , she decided to get a newer car and gave me the option of buying it.......so I did . After tearing the motor down and checking everything , I sent the cylinder heads out for checking for cracks and re-finishing the surface of the heads . All went well and after much delay , I finally finished putting the car back together and made sure it was safe for the road. I have been quite impressed with it's handling and performance .( this being the first front wheel drive vehicle I have owned ) It has the 3.8l engine , with automatic transmission.

Its body is strong overall. Nothing like cars these days. Slow acceleration. Good during slippery road conditions. I own this car. Ok apperance. Roomy inside. I have fun driving this car especially driving in the country side. Low on insurance. About $40 to fill up the tank. Good on maintenance.

This car was a great ride but after two head gasket replacements and a lower block it got too expensive to drive.

It was a good car, but if you don't maintain it, it will blow up just like any other Ford.
