Indestructible engine, entirely destructible interior. Not well taken care of by the time I got to it, so the trend continued.

the look of the car is not bad it is not rounded as the newer Tauruses and is a really heavy duty car. the backseats are very roomy with lots of head and leg room and very comfortable. The front bench seats are very nice with nice power seats and a nice stereo. The cars power is very nice with its 3.8L v6 car that gets better gas mileage than the other car I drove (a chevy astro van).

Good sturdy beater car, nothing special

It's not really a BAD car, just very old and really on its last legs. The engine runs pretty well but it doesn't like winter. It tends to be quite difficult sometimes on a cold morning. Transmission is still in decent shape, shifts relatively smoothly. Brakes are good, stops very well. Handles about like you'd expect for an older car. Not extremely sporty but I've flown around a few curves in it at pretty high speeds and it grabbed pretty nicely. Trust me I work my cars out pretty well, having formerly raced a lot. Car is built pretty solid, especially for its age. It has some rust but not horrible. As for the appearance, HA, yeah, it's pretty ugly. It was wrecked pretty good in the back and the roof is missing some paint. Plus, older Tauruses were ugly anyway. Gets horrible gas mileage, I'm estimating around 12 mpg highway. Comes from being horribly out of alignment and the engine having an intermittent misfire. Maintenance is fairly expensive since it likes to burn oil and always seems to have some other problem going on. Still a pretty fun car to drive though, with a nice 3.0L V6 under the hood. Not anywhere near the best I've ever driven but still entertaining sometimes.
