I love this car, but it would not have been my choice if I hadn't been given the car as a present. The Volvo 940 Wentworth is the most reliable car of it's calss and for the year it is fantastic condition. It's not the best looking car, but I can't fault the reliablity, the only thing that has been done to this car in 15 years is the head gasket and that only cost £488 and that was with service and cam belt change. Once you turn the key on this car, you realise that for a 2.0 ltr engine, it has some power under the bonnet. The Turbo is only the size of a five pence piece, but when you put your foot down, be carefull or you will be in alot of trouble, because it only has a small turbo, it has next to lagg and that results in instant power. It also comes with leather interior, a/c, e/w, e/m, c/l, alarm(cat 1), heated seats etc. If you pay attention to what you are doing, this car is alot of fun to drive and it is very comfortable. It's only downside is fuel, it likes a drink and will empty a tank of fuel(75 ltrs) in about 200 miles if you floor it everywhere, but it is not too bad as long as you use the power it has sensebly.

a good all round vehicle. it's reliable, comfortable & fairly cheap to run. the performance is also very good with plenty of power when needed. if you've never owned a volvo before, i would certainly recommend people try one & be pleasantly suprised.

This car which was manufactured in Sweden, just wont stop running. No major repairs if you keep it maintained properly.

OK well first this is first. This car has well what i consider no pickup. To get on the freeway is even more frighnening than usual just because its hard any thing faster than a toyota prius (eg:everything). However this car is very well built. Its solid and sturdy. No matter what happens the car keeps goingl. Think indiana jones. The outside it true volvo as well as the inside. Speaking of the inside their mounds of space in the trunk and the back seat is big enough to comply with my six foot cousin. The four cylinder engine is great on gas btw. If your looking to buy one of these ur sure to be happy however this car is really slow i mean REALLY. I highly recomend the turbo version.
