Car is made to be driven every day for years on end, performance is solid, breaks are great and handles like any 4 door family sedan should. This is not a fun but smart car to drive. This is one of the most dependable cars made, guaranteed to last well over 200,000 miles. now cheap to buy and easy to find still over 30 miles to the gallon highway around 23 miles city.

This was actually a second choice and it was a little more than what I wanted to spend, but I'm so glad that I bought this camry over a Honda Civic. I bought this car in 2000 with 137,000 miles on it and I paid a little over $8,000. I finally drove the car to the ground in the winter of 2006 with 314,000 miles on it. The transmission finally went out on it. The things that I had to fix on it was a muffler, and I had to replace the radiator, and put a new timing belt, and put new struts it, and this was all I had to do during the time that I owned the car.

Terrible handling, acceleration and braking, reasonable build quality but sure showing her age! Pretty plain looking and not a very "fun" car, BUT, cheap to buy and service - gas mileage terrible though considering it is only a small car with such poor performance!
