1992 Face lift Subaru Legacy, Ti Type S. Supposedly the least performing Subaru of its' age. Had the engine reconditioned, tweaked, and she'll now power off the mark a lot better than one would expect. Ancient and tired, she's going to be replaced by a 2002 Subaru Forester. As it is though, the stereo is mint... JVC head unti running and Sony Explode amp (don't buy one) which powers to Pheoni Gold 6x9s. Beautifull sound but regulations mean the pancel tray is now an aspect of satructural integrity, limited base resonance. Still, I bought her as a work car, she runs bloody well, will happily do 160k down the motorway, and stops and starts without fail. If you need an engine rebuild and you're in the hutt, goto 'Maidstone Autopoint'. Chris is the owner and if he doesn't know what's what, someone else there will. I have previously owned an MG Metro which needed a new clutch, radiator and a full engine rebuild (with a slight grind on the cam). It was a nice car. As far as subarus go, today I managed to get a 1.8l non-turbo 92' legacy into a full 4wd drift over a reasonable distance. Time I bought something serious.
