American Mechanics don't seem to understand the English car. Once you know it, it is as dependable as any American Car and almost as much as a Japanese car. Touring at its best (Except for the 528i BMW). Land Rovers are made to go the distance between service calls. They do just great, specially since they gave up Lucas electrics.

No sway bars no ABS no sunroof no leather, closest I could get to a Defender in a Range Rover. No rust. Has only broken down once in 2 months of ownership. Very comfortable, very slow, very bad fuel economy. Its a Rover. With some RTE love, some 24 spline bits and a LT230 I might have a good start.

its red, v8 and very fast. sounds lush, has needed door sills repairing, but otherwise it is very sturdy and extremely solid and has given me no other concerns. It is a petrol guzzler tho! and costs alot to keep going. however, it makes up for it by being so fun.
