It is a very stable platform and well built. I abuse it on the trails but it is still running strong and i turned it into a submarine and it started right back up when it dried out. Its easy to work on and modify just needs the axles locked

Wranglers are great for fun, off-roading, or fulfilling the sense of whimsy inside. Not real practical because of mileage and comfort. On my 91 I got roughly 12-15 mpg it was a 6 cylinder (I recommend no less) but the newer models are much more comfortable and a lot more efficient.
