Used 1990 Volvo 240 for Sale near Arkadelphia, AR

Big Bertha was a beast. She could take a beating and not sustain much damage at all. She got fairly good gas mileage, but had a lot of maintenance problems. Little things were always breaking but overall it was a REALLY safe car

its slow but the breaks are amazing suspension is soft and it rides very very nicely. it is a solid car with almost no problems. cruise control is the only thing that doesnt work. it has front heated seats with third row seats

I've been looking for one for years and I've finally found one! Couldn't be more please with my purchase. I've never driven a stick before and I probably shouldn't be learning on a car like this but whatever. I'm happy!

High Mileage car that just kept on going. I simply got tired of maintaining too many cars for daily use. Opted to keep the big gas guzzler. More room for me to drive about in.

This car may be old, it may take 3 days to get from 0-60, but it has lasted for ever. I mean it only has 190,000 miles on it and it still drives like it's new! It's expected to get at least another 190,000 on the odometer. They look like a brick, handle like a brick, and stop like a brick. It is very comfortable to drive on the highway and great for trips and hauling people, animals, and gear. They are relatively easy to maintain, but they do go through brakes quickly (because of their weight). They also don't have very powerful A/C systems..."You just sorta ride not hot in a 240!" I've heard that the 240 is still one of the most sought after classic Volvo's and they are really great cars.
