Fast as hell 0-60: sub 5, Good cornerer. no repair apart from arch, Sexy black leather interior heated front seats, 4x4 bodykit, 15-20mpg, goes troughs some amount of tires at 60euro a corner very fun car to drive

the 1.6 litre engine was very unreliable and underpowered for the weight of the car!

Like the majority of pre-2000 Vauxhalls, the Chavalier (not a spelling mistake) was unreliable from cold and even when warm, the sunroof leaked, the auto choke never worked, gear box was notchy and could never get over 80 without thinking the whole thing will fall apart.
