i loved this car to bit i had the rs turbo model which was fantastic it pulled like a train and very few cars could keep up with it on the starights the handleing was not so good but the power it out down always put a smile on my face

bought this car for $500.00 off a guy in the street, i was just going to need it for 3 months. until i got back home, its engine was almost shot, it held on for the three months i needed it. the day the guy who bough it and me had the car legally transfered, the engine seized. i was on a plane back to PR, but i sent him the $200.00 he paid me for the car... we are still friends... really we are.

I will own another Escort GT (86-90). Cheap to insure, easy to maintain, and GREAT on gas. Nice power and performance from a 1.9L 8V I4 engine. Enough to keep a smile on your face while getting 30+ MPG. I kinda wish I would have not sold it to my brother.
