(8 reviews)Great fun to drive at the limit. Fun to toss around and steer with both ends! Fast for it's time and holds it's own even with many cars much newer. Bred for racing and licensed for the street. It just doesn't get much better than that.
This is a real drivers' car. It was originally designed as a race car using Bmw's F1 engine then homogenized into a street vehicle. It was produced from 1988-91. About 750 per year were sent to the U.S. It's not the fastest car I've driven, but it is one of the most enjoyable. E30 M3s come with marvelous engines (2.3l inline four with individual throttles per cylinder and revs up to 8k), fantastic handling and braking, and look pretty aggressive. It is an old car so for sure there was and still is plenty to repair, but what do you expect for a nearly 20 year old car. You can definitely tell this was originally designed as a race car, but it still has that BMW comfort, ingenuity, and refined feeling that they are well known for. MPG isn't bad. Highway I see about 25 and city is high teens low 20s. If you love to drive, can do your own work (or can afford to have some one do it!), and want to own a piece of automotive history, I would definitely recommend this car.....If you can find one!
Best M3 ever..... this is the best M3 without doubt. It only comes in LHD and a few other special models. The best and most sort after is the Sport Evolution. It is to rival the 190E-2.316 .. it did well until the R32 GTR came out.
Very nice from side view and a attractive view from the top makes me go towards this cars in most wanted and in real life too but this suitable only for me and my girl friend i would like to own it
i just love this BMW model. i saw it here at my place. wanna try n buy it for real. heheh. n restore it to its original condition n make it more sporty. i just love this classic model. thnx bmw for making a nice classy model...
