For a 20 yr old car with 195k, she is outstanding. These were $50k+ new. Prone to electrical issues and quickly wearing suspension, they can be troublesome. I have a good mechanic and some skills myself. If you just want to get in and drive without ever worrying about maintainence then these cars are not for you. If you love to drive and be comfortable while knowing you can out-handle 90% of the rest of your commuters and don't mind quirky german engineering, then look one of these E32's up. They are getting really cheap.
