Sips fuel if you are lgiht footed and provides decent handling a car of this age with all the electronic goodies you expect cars of today to have... Great long distance crusier but soft on the acceleration

Actually Ive had two of these in white. Both served as a temporary transportation. Did their part well and without problems. First one was a 2-door automatic sport saloon and the other a manual liftback 4-door. Both with 2.0 liter carburetor engines. Fuel economy was not good but as I said both cars were reliable and good to drive.

This car is a true Gran Touring Sedan. It goes when you step on the throttle, and stops when necessary, quickly. Other than what is required to keep a car in top mechanical condition for it's years and mileage, nothing extraordinary has been required. I continue to get raves about the appearance and the quality of workmanship, interior and exterior. Cost of ownership has been what is expected for a car of this type. It is a BMW eater. They cannot stay with it on the interstate, and they cannot beat it's economy of operation, 22 to 28mpg! I have driven many other cars, and this one is the best value and fun to drive regradless the cost!
