Runs on Nissan RB30 engine, which are very reliable and dont use oil or water much at all. The 3.0 litre delivers good power and can be fun to drive in the wet, with the rear wheel drive Borg Warner salisbury type powertrain. Widely used in Australia and New Zealand for circuit and drag racing, with some top pro street examples out there. The main picture is the winning vl commodore of Win Percy and Allan Grice from the famous Bathurst race in 1990. Cars make good towing cars, circuit racers and drag cars, with a selection of top pro street models also out there.

It was a brilliant car, better than my current commodore. I wish that I never got rid of it. I took it everywhere, it didn't owe me anything and it got me whereever I wanted to go. I am thinking of getting another one after I get rid of my current one. We'll see.

Has an RB25det .... Goes quick, stops quick. Sounds awesome. Gets heaps of thumbs ups from random people. I love it. This is my fun vehicle. On the other hand, it is unreliable and old, and a bit rattly, hahaha.
