For 1984, the Toyota Cressida saw some changes. The speedometer was changed to read to 130 mph, and the left outside mirror was changed to the convex type for a better field of view. Also, the stereo cassette player was standard (it had been an option before). The '84 Cressida came as a wagon or a sedan. The engine was a 2.8-liter, 156-horsepower 6 cylinder, and it came standard with an automatic transmission. A five-speed manual was available as an option. The Cressida was well-equipped, coming with a generous amount of standard features. Some drivers have had problems with rust and the A/C.

I love the 21 R engine,the power is delivered to the rear wheels having a smooth acceleration, but able to spin its rear tires to my satisfaction. I really miss this car, hope to drive it again someday. I really enjoyed it

ive had the car for about 7 months now and it works pretty good. after some patching and some new parts it worked good, now i am waiting to get some more parts and put it on the road. after it is finnished.

It is very comfortable, you won't feel bumpy, when the road is not even!!! and it takes about 10 seconds to accelerate from 0-100

The interior is exceptable and has all that is needed in any vechile, exterior needs a lot of styling to fulfill the need of nice cars, but other than that it is one tough koekie, not that fast but definetly strong.

was my first car and it was my dad car also 5 speed manual transmission 2.0 liter it was great in performance as i also was riding in same time my mum mercedes benz E 200 and i knew the diff.
